Some of the best whitetail deer hunting in Maine can be found in Penobscot County.  Black bear are abundant and we offer guided bear hunts.  Moose are also very plentiful in our area.  Grouse and snowshoe hare hunting are superb, with many overgrown spruce swamps and numerous logging roads and rolling hills to travel.  South Branch Lake is ideally suited for smallmouth bass.  Three to five pound smallmouth bass are common.  We offer fantastic river fishing on the Penobscot and Piscataquis Rivers and Seboeis Stream, each teeming with large populations of smallmouth and other species.  Remote lakes also offer untapped populations of bronzebacks and brookies.
