South Branch Lake welcomes family vacationers by the night or for the week. We have several packages available for your convenience. Enjoy hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, or just relax on the shores of our beautiful lake. Bring a book, camera, or simply listen to the loons. In the afternoon take a canoe or boat ride down the lake to one of the many islands for a secluded lunch or swim.
Fly-Out Packages
Fly 'N' Dine
  A unique dining experience combining an unforgettable flying tour of Katahdin and the lower West Branch of the Penobscot. These areas are rich in scenic beauty and have an abundance of wildlife. Round trip flight from South Branch Lake Camps including meal: $130 per person.
Fly-In Fishing
  Treat yourself to a secluded trout pond for the day! You can fish for Brook Trout and Landlocked Salmon with the option of a second walk-in pond if you enjoy hiking. Choose between Fly Fishing Only or General Law ponds, Round trip flight from South Branch Lake Camps: $150 per person.
Overnight Trout Fishing Trip
  Overnight trout fishing trip with famed Allagash Guide Bob Johnson Fly from the dock at South Branch Lake Camps directly into the heart of the Allagash. Bob will meet you at his trout camps for a truly memorable trout fishing experience. Overnight Package includes round trip flight, guide, overnight lodging and meals: $430 per person. Extra days including guide, lodging and meals: $215 per person.
Scenic Northwoods Flight
  An approximately 45 minute aerial tour giving you a breathtaking look at Maine's highest mountain, Mt Katahdin and the beauty of the Northwoods. You may also have a good chance of observing moose or perhaps a bear during the flight. Round trip flight from South Branch Lake Camps: $85 per person.
Traditional Shore Lunch
While you are at South Branch, Be sure to ask about our Traditional Shore Lunch, complete with homemade dessert, cooked for you out on the lake at one of our Islands. Call for details.
Eagles are just one of the special neighbors we share South Branch with. Osprey and loons will also be your fishing companions. In our coves you will find nesting great blue herons, ducks, geese, and beaver lodges dotting the shoreline. Deer and moose are often seen crossing our mile long driveway.
